1. Who we are

Sovara operates the website sovarastore.in. We are based at 5th Floor, Pawan Chayya, Mumbai, India. This policy explains how we collect, use, share and protect your personal information when you visit or buy from our store. It is written to follow the Information Technology Act, 2000, the rules under it, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, as they apply to us. By using our website, you agree to this policy.

2. Information we collect

  • Details you give us: name, email address, phone number, delivery and billing address, and any message you send us.
  • Order information: the products you buy, order value, and payment status. We do not see or store your full card, UPI PIN or net banking details. These are handled by our payment partners.
  • Details collected automatically: IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, referring website, and approximate location, collected through cookies and similar tools.
  • Marketing preferences: whether you have agreed to receive emails or WhatsApp messages from us.

3. How we use your information

  • To process and deliver your orders, send order updates and handle returns, refunds and support requests.
  • To verify Cash on Delivery orders, for example by calling or messaging you to confirm.
  • To improve our website, products and customer experience.
  • To send offers and updates, only if you have agreed. You can opt out at any time.
  • To prevent fraud, keep our store secure, and meet legal and tax obligations, including GST records.

We do not sell your personal information.

These partners may process data on servers outside India. They are expected to protect your information, and each has its own privacy policy. We may also disclose information when required by law or by a court or government authority.

We use reasonable security practices, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections, secure payment processing and limited access to personal data. No online system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. We keep your information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as the law requires, including tax and accounting records.

  • raise a complaint with us, and if you are not satisfied, with the Data Protection Board of India once it is operational.

8. Children

Our store is meant for people aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
